Finalizing Your Learning-Centered, Accessible Syllabus

Tuesday August 22, 1-2:30 p.m., via Zoom

This session links learning-centered course design strategies to specific rhetorical and pedagogical practices for developing your course syllabus for its primary audience: learners. Through a mix of presentation, examples, and discussion, participants will work to shape a learning-centered syllabus as an accessible, inclusive, audience-aware, core course document.

Choosing a Syllabus tool in Canvas - hosted by AATT and the UMD EVCAA

Wednesday, September 13 12-1 p.m., Kirby Plaza 175

UMD Instructors using Canvas have a lot of options when choosing a syllabus tool. Attendees will get a ground level view of Simple Syllabus, Canvas Syllabus, or Google Docs - and will be able to discuss the importance of accessible design in these documents.
